In this first incarnation of the earth’s development the earth, sun, moon and all of the planets were one body; a body of cosmic heat and nothing more. This was the beginning of the development of humanity when higher beings (the Spirits of Will) created the seeds that eventually would evolve into the physical bodies of humanity. After this first Great Day of Manifestation (of creation), which in Christian esotericism is called the Saturn Period, there followed a Great Cosmic Night when all spiritual activity rested and all was darkness. Once again another Great Day of Manifestation called the Sun Period came into existence and humanity was being worked upon by other beings (the Spirits of Wisdom) who endowed humanity with the germinal seed of a higher body than the physical body. This body now permeates the physical body thereby giving it life and the power to grow, propagate and activate the body and all of its functions. During the Saturn and Sun Periods the sun, moon, earth and all of the planets were one cosmic body. Again a Cosmic Night followed. This cosmic body then emerged again as the third Great Day of Manifestation which is called the Moon Period. This was when humanity was given the rudiments of their souls; that is , their life of thinking, feeling and desire to act. The rudiments of the soul were bestowed to humanity by the hierarchy called the Spirits of Activity. At this time the blind man makes it specifically clear that the soul and spirit of humanity are distinctly different entities. He continues by saying that in the third period the forces of the sun break from the major sphere of activity. Now for the first time spiritual forces act upon humanity from without thereby awakening the consciousness of humanity from within. Before all was One and humanity’s consciousness was the consciousness of higher beings.

     Finally we come to the fourth and present Great Day of Manifestation which is called the Earth Period. There are to be three more in the future which are named Jupiter, Venus and Vulcan Periods. This Earth Period was also preceded by a Cosmic Night. The beginnings of the present Earth Period is what is recorded in the Bible in the Book of Genesis. Here we have seven great beings of the sun sphere who are called the Elohim. It is they who endowed humanity with Spirit ( the EGO-I AM). In the Bible it is called “the breath of life”. This is the spark of divinity that shines in every individual. This was given to humanity from out of the divine essence of the Elohim who said, “Let us make humanity in our image and likeness." This spirit (EGO-I AM) was given to humanity which then acts upon our souls. It is what is called the Holy of Holies; the Shekinah Glory; the Light of the Christ. It was the Light of the Christ that had shone through the Elohim and all the divine hierarchies in the creation of humanity.

     The blind man pauses for a moment then continues. He tells Rosenkreutz that the seven days in the Book of Genesis are the recordings of the workings of the Elohim upon humanity in this fourth Great Day of Manifestation (the Earth Period). They are the seven lesser days of creation leading up to the development of humanity. While the Bible speaks in the context of days we are speaking of great stages of creation and development over eons of time. From the seven Elohim one has risen to represent all of them as a singular unitary consciousness. This one would guide the development of humanity from that point of time. Already the sun, moon, earth and all the planets have separated themselves from one another and now the earth stands alone for humanity’s evolution. This one took up his regency in the spiritual sphere of the moon. He is called in the Bible, Jehovah. As the Christ has now descended through the spiritual worlds the Christ took up His regency within the sphere of the sun along with the Elohim. Jehovah, within the spiritual sphere of the moon, thereby became the reflection of the spiritual Light of the Christ upon the earth and into the souls of humanity. The power of the Christ was too powerful for the direct inception into both the earth and the souls of humanity at that time in the course of evolution. However the Christ shined upon the earth and humanity through the one unitary consciousness of the Elohim: Jehovah. In times past, the blind man continues, all the major and great religions have recognized the Christ as a God of the highest order Who dwelled in the sphere of the sun as humanity progressed from their beginnings on earth. In Ancient India He was called Vishnu Karman. In Ancient Persia He was called Ahura Mazdao. In Egypt they called His reflection Osiris and He revealed Himself to the Hebrews through Moses when at the burning bush He revealed Himself as, “I AM the I AM.”
