The powers of Lucifer and Satan have permeated the souls of humanity with their forces that have clouded the souls of humanity which in turn veils the EGO-I AM from their sight. It is the powers of Lucifer and Satan that create the forces of vengeance, hatred and fear that each one projects on another. There is but one remedy and that is to see the world through the eyes of the Christ with Love, Compassion, Forgiveness and Self-sacrifice. This is the Christ Impulse. Perceive the world through the eyes of the Christ and you will see the Light of the Christ in all things. Recognize the Christ in others and you will recognize the Christ in yourself.
Lastly, the blind man tells Rosenkreutz, “Let all humanity come to understand that the Christ lives in everyone and His EGO-I AM fills the earth. He who lives in Him will have life everlasting. Amen.”
After Rosenkreutz has listened to these words there is a pause. Finally, he wishes for the blind man to identify himself. He asks him who could he possibly be that he would hold such wisdom? At this moment the blind man spreads his arms wide. He then divulges to Rosenkreutz that he is the Master Jesus; he is Zarathustra. His eyes are now filled with light. His body immediately becomes ethereal in appearance and slowly dissolves until he is no longer visible. Suddenly a voice speaks and says, “ I Am the Son of God. I AM the Resurrection and the Life. I AM the Light of the World”.As the blind man was the Master Jesus-Zarathustra, the voice was the voice of the Etheric Christ.
Rosenkreutz begins his journey back to the rectory when he comes upon the small farm and cottage where he had previously spent a night and had dinner. As he approaches the small cottage there is a silence that surrounds the area . The farm has no animals in sight nor any of the life that it had previously. It is also a dark, cold windy day and the sun is setting quickly. He approaches the cottage and calls out to Olaf and Elsa. There is no response. He steps up to the door and knocks on it heavily. The door again is not barred and slowly swings open. Rosenkreutz cautiously opens the door wider and again calls out for anyone to answer. Again, no response. He enters the cottage with a feeling of apprehension.
The cottage is dark with only the little amount of light that shines through the window as the sun has almost spent its last rays of light in the final minutes of its setting. In the cottage near the dining area where they had dinner previously there are two black rats scampering on the floor near a corner of the room. This is one of the first things that he sees once he is completely inside the cottage. Next he begins to make his way to a small side room that has a plain sheet hanging at the doorway of the room. He moves to the doorway, draws back the sheet only to find the deceased bodies of Olaf and Elsa. They have died of the plague as their faces and bodies are riddled with buboes.
At the same moment there is a hissing sound that grows louder while at the same time the sun has fully set and only the light of the rising moon fills the room. The hissing sound increases as he turns to look. The room begins to fill with a dark, murky light that is engulfing Rosenkreutz. The two black rats transfigure into large luciferic, demonic beings with large wings as they continue to hiss and glare at him with fiery red eyes. They both widen their wings and create more of the murky light from their wings. His capacity to stand against these forces grows weaker. He soon slumps to the floor and immediately loses consciousness.
