The Divine Sophia says to him that because he has never been to the Temple in this life, she will guide him when he reaches the Black Forest. When they come to the Temple, she will open his soul to the memory of his past life in the Temple. Once inside, she says, he and the Initiates will see in a vision the creation of the earth and the eventual Advent of the Christ on earth. She then says, “Call on Him and He will answer you and show you great and mighty things,” (Jeremiah 33:3). Rosenkreutz responds, “...The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness” (Psalm 18:29). The Divine Sophia then becomes part of the early morning mist over the pond and fades from his sight.
Continuing his walk to the village he arrives there only to see again the ongoing ravages of the plague. The village is more quiet than ever. As he passes an alley a black rat is seen moving down the alley as it retreats from him. It immediately transposes into an ethereal luciferic being and takes flight in a spiraling motion. When looking up he softly says, “ As the Divine Light will fill the darkness, the Eternal Life will rule over death.”
Later, Rosenkreutz arrives at the home of Maria and Eva. Maria welcomes him and invites him to sit at the table. He tells them both that he can not stay. He came to admonish Maria and Eva to stay close to God in their prayers; for the principalities of darkness and death are waging battle against human souls who seek the Light of the Christ. He tells them to pray that God’s angels may watch over them and keep them from harm. He tells them that he must leave on another journey and that he must get started while there is still a good amount of sunlight left in the day. The three of them make their way to the outside where he blesses them both with the sign of the cross. He turns and begins walking as Maria and Eva are waving good-bye to him. He turns and gives them both a final good-bye as Eva also waves one final good-bye.
When Rosenkreutz approaches the Black Forest the Divine Sophia then appears to him and becomes his guide to the Temple. They arrive at the foot of a large hill. She tells him that the Temple sits at the summit of the hill. Rosenkreutz sees nothing until his spiritual sight is opened and he sees the Temple in its transfigured ethereal form. At that moment all that transpired from his previous life in the Temple now streamed into his consciousness and memory. The Divine Sophia tells him that he will not enter the Etheric Temple of the RoseCross in bodily form but will step out of his physical body and enter it in his soul body.
Taken out of body by the Divine Sophia, Rosenkreutz suddenly finds himself within the Temple and with what appears to be a ethereal purple robe over his soul body. Inside the Temple everything is as it was at the initiation of his previous life. Everyone is placed and attired as before. The difference in this initiation is that the previous initiation took place in the physical realm and ascended to the etheric realm and that this present initiation is in the etheric realm only. With eyes closed and with the sound of the twelve tones of the Initiates, Rosenkreutz begins to see into the Akashic Records.
