Satan proceeds without pausing, “I will come to be their god, though they may never recognize my influences in the world, nor acknowledge my existence. Their souls will be mine. Their thinking will be steeped in materialism and secularism only, with no knowledge of the workings of the higher worlds upon humanity and the world. This will darken their souls and will bring their souls under my power. The world is what they will desire; the Christ is what they will shun.”
He continues saying, “There are two powers that in time will increasingly work upon humanity’s thinking: mine and Michael’s. My desire is to fill the souls of humanity with my impulses through their thinking and pull it down into materialism only. Through this, I control the souls of humanity in ever greater numbers and in strength. Eventually, humanity would lose its connection with the higher worlds altogether. At death, their souls would then never ascend higher than the etheric sphere of the earth. They would never be able to rise into the higher spheres. They would be tied to my forces which would gradually give me greater control of the earth. Through me and my influence over humanity the earth will eventually be under my control. The divinities would then forsake it, and I would then have dominion over the earth and humanity. The cosmic intelligence that would fill this new earth would be mine; the power over humanity would be of myself; the Dragon.”
Satan then exclaims, “ I would then rule throughout the earth, and the souls of humanity would be lost to me. Filling their thinking with materialism and secularism only is my greatest weapon against them. They will come to see the workings of the universe and the earth as great workings of natural physical forces only. Forces that appear only to their physical senses while their thinking becomes devoid of spirit. They will then perceive everything as lifeless, spiritless processes. They will obliterate spirit from all aspects of life. I will fill their thinking with materialism in all fields: science, art, religion, philosophy and medicine. Their advancements in science will be tremendous towards the end of this millennium and beyond when I will begin to prepare to incarnate in the flesh. These advancements will enhance my powers to create war and death among themselves; war that is the result of humanity’s increased egoism and separateness. They will continue to annihilate one another.
As I will obscure the Christ-Self in all of humanity, they will fail to see All as One. As they continue to fail to see the Christ-Self in one another, they will continue to believe in the power of hate, fear and vengeance. The world will then be set for my coming. It will be in a state of disarray and confusion. My influence will be so powerful that much of the world will accept me. For it is I who they will follow when their world is failing. They will turn to one who is of such great intelligence; an intelligence no one has ever seen before. They will turn to one that seemingly has the answers to all worldly problems. Divinity will have no place in their hearts any longer. They will no longer turn to the Christ nor to his messenger, Michael, but instead they will turn to only what they understand, desire and believe in; they will turn to me in my ‘physical’ incarnation. For it is only the ‘physical’ world that they now will know and desire. The world that has my mark on it; the mark of the Beast.”
When Satan finishes he raises his right hand which exposes an encircled and inverted pentagram. Slowly he begins to descend as he had risen. The smoke that fills and covers the floor returns with him into the abyss. As he descends, the spitting of fire out of the abyss increases as does the sounds of screams, drones and blasphemies until Satan and all else has vanished from sight. The floor of the study now appears as if it were never disturbed. There is no longer any pentagram or fissure in the floor.
