As Rosenkreutz looks out the window, the meteor vanishes over the horizon, while the golden-blue light that had descended from the trail of light slowly dims and fades from his sight.

The seasons have now moved to the season of Advent prior to Christmas. Inside the chapel is Rosenkreutz kneeling in the center aisle of the chapel facing the statue of the Resurrected Christ and the Cross of the Seven Roses. He is engrossed in deep prayer and meditation. He begins to pray aloud, “ The Spiritual Sun now rises in the season of the Advent of the Christ. The Powers behind the sun shower the earth with the essence of their Being. They radiate their glory to the exalted Sun Spirit Who has descended from on high and lives and dwells in the earth. He, Who is the Son of God has descended from the Spiritual Sun and dwells among us. In this season of the Christmas festival, the festival of the Holy Night, let us recognize the Son of God, the exalted Sun Spirit Christ as the Light of the World. Let His Light fill the darkness of our souls in increasing measure as the sun will fill the darkness of the season of winter that turns to spring and gives new life to all living things; in Christ, Life Everlasting. Amen.”

After completing this prayer aloud he continues to look up at the statue of the Resurrected Christ and the Cross of the Seven Roses. While praying silently now the light of the sun pierces through the stained glass windows and creates a rainbow of colors on the floor and walls of the chapel.

On the same night it is a very still, moonlit winter’s night. It is a cold night with a covering of snow on the ground. At the home of Maria and her daughter, Eva, the cold wintry night is very still also. Two small windows at the front and one on the side of the house are illuminated from inside. They are a stark contrast to the cold and dark night of the outside landscape. The moon casts it light upon the snow giving it a glistening appearance. Inside the home, within the small bedroom of Eva, she lies asleep while Maria, her mother, gently and quietly pulls the blankets back up over her that she had undone in her sleep. Away from the bed against a wall is a night stand with a small candle burning as a night-light.

As Maria finishes fixing the blankets, she kisses Eva on the forehead, leaves the room and begins blowing out the candles in the rest of the home. She then makes her way to her own room to retire to bed for the night. Eva’s room is now dimly lit by the small candle while the rest of the house is very dark. Outside in the moonlit night, the winter wind creates a faint howl. The room of Eva is a picture of peace and serenity until suddenly a black rat emerges from under the bed. It begins to scamper around the room and around the bed until it finally makes its way to the foot of the bed and there it holds still. Its eyes become fiery red and at the same time it begins make a low hissing sound. Eva is peacefully asleep while the black rat is now transfiguring into a luciferic-demon at the foot of the bed.

The demon continues to stand at the foot of the bed. It is nearly as tall as the ceiling of the bedroom. The demon then spreads its wings to its sides as dark clouds of murky light stream from its wings and engulfs the entire room. The swirling motion of the clouds increase in velocity as the demon continues hissing. Finally Eva’s sleep becomes very disturbed and restless. Rocking her head back and forth she then begins to scream and cry in her sleep. At this point, the swirling, murky dark streams of light begin to rapidly recede back into the wings of the demon as it immediately returns to its form as a black rat while retreating to a corner of the room. Eva continues to scream and cry in her sleep as though she were having a terrible nightmare.
