The parents do not know the location of the Temple in the Black Forest. The angel then instructs them to bring the child to the Black Forest on the night of the next full-moon. There it will guide the parents with the child through the forest to the Temple. On that night, the angel says, he will be baptized into the Brotherhood by the Resurrected Etheric Christ. Two weeks later at the time of the full-moon the parents with the child arrive at the Black Forest. Night is approaching and the full-moon is rising. The angel tells them to follow with the child as they will be guided into the forest to the Temple. As the angel moves forward everything in the angel’s path is immediately brightened with golden light. At last they arrive near the Temple. The angel then instructs them that the child is to be left in a basket at the door of the Temple. They are then told to immediately turn and leave as they will be guided back out of the forest. The child will be taken in by one of the Initiates. They do as they were instructed and return to the angel to follow the angel out of the forest.

    Inside the Temple are the twelve Initiates positioned around the Rose Cross. Placed beneath the foot of the black cross is the child in the basket. Slowly and softly the twelve semi-tones begin to emanate from the twelve Initiates. Outside the full-moon gradually begins to pass into a lunar eclipse as the twelve semi-tones grow louder until finally the moon is at a total eclipse. Inside the Temple all goes absolutely dark except for a small light around the child. The angel begins to appear and stands before the child and the cross. The angel now looks down on the child and speaking it says that, “ on this night this child is to be baptized into the Order of the Rose Cross. He is to be the eventual leader and thirteenth of the Order. The twelve Initiates will stream their wisdom and ascendancy into him as do the constellations of the zodiac stream their forces toward the sun and humanity. He will be the guiding force that leads human souls into the Age of Michael. This Age will begin to dawn towards the end of this millennium when the forces of Michael will open the hearts of those who willingly accept the inspirations of Michael that lead to the Resurrected Etheric Christ. On this night the Resurrected Etheric Christ will bless and baptize this child and initiate him for his future mission. From this moment, his Christian name will be Rosenkreutz; the guardian of the Christian Rose Cross.”

    When the angel finishes speaking it slowly fades from view until there is only the child who now has the name ‘Rosenkreutz’. Gradually the Etheric Christ now begins to appear. The twelve initiates can not be seen but their tones can still be heard. Other angels begin to fill the surrounding area around Rosenkreutz as the Etheric Christ raises His arms and dramatically increases the light that surrounds the child, Rosenkreutz. However, the baptism soon ends as the Etheric Christ quickly begins to fade from view. Rosenkreutz had now been baptized into the Order of the Rose Cross. As he grew older he became a very pious soul who was completely devoted to God and to a spiritual life. In the Temple he became deeply cognizant of the very profound wisdom of the Initiates of the Rose Cross. He was a soul who had highly developed spiritual qualities of his own from previous incarnations, but through this training within the Temple and a life of spiritual devotion and fervent prayer to God his qualities and capacities would endow him with what he will need for his next incarnation and those to follow so that his mission of ushering in a higher revelation of Christianity to the world can succeed.
