As the year advances to the season of spring it has now completed one full year. Rosenkreutz and Maria are standing at the grave of Eva. The stones that once covered the shallow grave have been removed and a marker in the shape of a cross is now standing at the head of the cross. There is now green grass over the grave. The sounds of spring give a contrasting mood to the solemn picture of the grave site. The sun is bright, a soft breeze is blowing and the sounds of birds fill the air. Maria goes to one knee and places a white rose at the base of the cross that marks the grave. She then stands and moves to the foot of the grave alongside Rosenkreutz. This day is Easter Sunday.

      Rosenkreutz then begins to pray openly, “Let this festival that we celebrate today, the Easter Festival, instill hope in our souls. For the Easter Festival is the festival of hope. It is the festival of the Resurrection and the Life. It is the festival of rebirth. The Easter Festival is the celebration of the victory of life over death, through the Christ; the Holy Son of God. As He is the Resurrection and the Life, he gives us hope of eternal spiritual life in Him as His Light fills our souls; the Light that is the Light of the World. As He fills our souls with His Life and Light, we are resurrected to a new life in Him. In Him death is defeated; eternal life has gained victory. On this Easter Festival, we give thanks that the soul and spirit of this child rest with the Holy Son of God; the Christ. Amen.” Rosenkreutz makes the sign of the cross over the grave while both stand silently as the sounds of spring complete the benediction.

     Shortly after the visitation to the grave, Rosenkreutz begins leaving the home of Maria. He is standing at the road that passes in front of the house while Maria is standing at the doorway of her home. He then turns and waves one final good-bye. She returns his gesture from the doorway. He then slowly turns back to the road and begins making his way to the village. While he is traveling on the road that leads back to the village, the sky begins to darken with thick gray clouds and the soft breezes have now become strong winds. In the distance there stands the village. However, there is a strange and powerful light that is lighting up the very darkened sky and it is emanating from the center of the village. He hears the sounds of ecstasy coming from the people. Most of the villagers are standing underneath this bright, white spherically shaped light which is placed in the center of the village. This light is shining on the villagers while they are in praise of it. One passing villager is stopped by Rosenkreutz.

     He asks him if he would explain this to him. The passerby said that this light speaks inwardly to the depths of their souls. It has healed those who are afflicted with the plague. It has also healed the lame, the blind and the deaf. The voice of the light has claimed itself as their god. It has told them that it is the light that they should follow and worship.

     As Rosenkreutz continues to observe this spherical light, the Divine Sophia then appears to him. Standing before him and obscuring his view of the light, she begins to speak to him. She says, “ Do not look upon this light in worship and adoration, for it is the false light. It is the light of Lucifer who has come to disguise himself and deceive those who would worship him. He heals those whom he had before afflicted. He misleads those whom he would deceive. His light is that of illusion. In him is the way of death. Through him is the path of deception. There is only one true light; the Light of the Holy Son of God. His Light is in you; His Life, He gives to you. Claim Him as the Holy Son of God, and be not deceived by any other false light. Denounce the light of Lucifer as you have done before and call upon the Name of the Christ to dispel the forces of this unholy light; the light of Lucifer. Ask in the Name of the Christ to send the forces of Michael, the exalted archangel, to take victory over this presence of Lucifer and free these people from the bondage of Lucifer. As the Etheric Christ has been glorified in you, do this in remembrance of Him; in His Name. Amen.”
