[In esotericism these spiritual beings are often called group-souls. That is, one powerful being expresses its life through an entire species. This also pertains to plant life and even to the mineral realm. However, in the higher worlds, these spiritual beings (group-soul beings) do not have the appearance of the animal species or plant species nor mineral. In the spiritual worlds they do not resemble their physical counterpart.]
Days later Rosenkreutz comes to rest at the side of the road near a wild rose bush. He removes a red rose from the rose bush. Behind him in the distance is again the rising sun in the east. It is early morning and the morning dew has settled on the leaves and roses of the rose bush. A drop of dew falls from the rose that Rosenkreutz is holding and at this time the entire rose bush then lights up and transfigures into a flaming ethereal golden rose bush. A voice then sounds to Rosenkreutz which fills his soul saying “I Am”.
[In the blood of each human individual are the forces of the EGO-I AM; one’s higher and true self; the spark of Divinity within each individual which is carried from one incarnation to the next. Since the fall (humanity’s fall from the etheric realm where we existed in the embracements of the Archai which are a hierarchy of beings above the angels and archangels) the soul has been tainted with the forces of Lucifer and his beings. This led humanity to descend to earth and to assume, over great eons of time, a more physically dense body. At the same time the earth descended further into matter. This was the Great Fall caused by Lucifer through humanity. Through time, luciferic forces have darkened humanity’s soul forces. These forces are then crystallized and reflected in the physical and dark, red blood of each individual. With the Advent of the Christ Being, a turning point in the evolution of humanity and the earth had been reached and accomplished. With the Christ Impulse now gradually filling the souls of individuals, one’s soul need not be darkened, but will be filled with the light of the Christ thereby eventually resurrecting humanity and the earth into the spiritual worlds. The resurrection and ascension of the earth will become the ‘New Jerusalem’. Therefore, the dark red rose bush in the wilderness is a symbol of the forces of the EGO-I AM that while we are in the world we are overshadowed by luciferic forces. The ethereal golden rose bush, therefore, is a symbol for the regeneration of the souls of humanity through the Christ which is reflected in the Christ-imbued etherization of the blood.]
When he continues his travels Rosenkreutz approaches a small medieval farm cottage in the country. The farm is alive with an assortment of a small number of animals plus a dog and a cat. It also has a small field, trees, shrubbery. The day is filled with bright sunshine. As he approaches the cottage he is greeted by an older man who is the farmer and who lives with his wife on the farm. Rosenkreutz tells him that he has traveled for days and needs a place to rest for the night. The farmer is agreeable and tells him that there is an extra room and cot for him to sleep on. The farmer is very hospitable as he can see that Rosenkreutz has the appearance of a gentle soul. He introduces himself as Olaf and invites Rosenkreutz into the cottage where Olaf introduces him to his wife Elsa.
As the sun sets in the early evening it is time for dinner when all the farm work has been completed for the day. Olaf says grace and they begin having dinner. Olaf opens the dinner conversation with a small discourse about his life as a farmer and how he has lived on this land all his life. He and Elsa have been married for over forty years. Olaf then asks Rosenkreutz what is it that he does in life, where is he traveling, where is he from and what is the purpose of his travels.
Rosenkreutz tells them that he is from the region of the Black Forest. He continues by telling them that he has been traveling for some days as he is approaching nearer to his destiny which is the Carpathian Mountains. He continues and says that he is a Christian monk but is not of the Mother Church. Here he is not apprehensive to reveal to them that he received a visitation from a divine being who is named the Divine Sophia. She appeared to him several nights ago telling him that he is to travel to the Carpathian Mountains to see and speak with a blind man who lives in these mountains and is said to be filled with wisdom and the grace of God. He also tells them of his encounter with Lucifer and his demons and his vision of the Christ standing before the rising sun. After which a dove will later in his travels descend to him and guide him to this holy man. Immediately following what Rosenkreutz has divulged to them the room becomes absolutely silent. Both Olaf and Elsa are not sure what to believe or what to say as all three sit in silence while finishing their dinner.
