Nobuyuki is THE most unimportant character in the whole series. You almost never see him, and if you do, he's always getting picked on. The females living at the Masaki Shrine steal his money and comic books all the time. He never gets any peace, that's if he's even lucky enough to get inside the house (Tenchi in Tokyo, Ayeka put up a homemade security system so effective he couldn't even get in his own house!) Nobuyuki is the husband of the late Achika Masaki and the father of Tenchi. Nobuyuki is of some distant relation to Yosho, besides being his son-in-law, but the series never highlights that point very well. Nobuyuki is somewhat of a coward and not very skilled with a sword, so the duty of guardian never fell into his hands. Nobuyuki means very well and is very loving, but sometimes he can be somewhat lecherous (if 6 girls were living in your house, you would be too!) Nobuyuki is probably the sweetest, most good hearted person in the whole series because he truly loves his wife and wants the very best for his son. However, he never gets any say on anything and everyone ignores him, poor bastard.
