Sasami is the younger (yet more mature) sister of Ayeka. Like Ayeka, Sasami has 2 Jurai royal body guards to protect and tend to her, Azaka and Kamidake (even tho they really belong to Ayeka). Sasami is the most responsible, well-mannered member of the mostly female cast. She does all the cooking & cleaning for the Masaki residence. Ryo-Ohki is her closest friend & protector. Sasami has an unusual marking on her forehead, and she sometimes has precognitive dreams, during which this marking glows. The mark is known as the "True Emblem", or "Emblem of Power". Sasami has a side "fantasy" role as Pretty Sami, where she spoofs Sailor Moon & Creamy Mami style "magic girls". She transforms into a cute outfit and wields a silly looking "wand". When Sasami was younger, there was an attack on Jurai. Sasami was somewhere she shouldn't have been and something exploded near by and almost killed her. The being known as Tsunami found Sasami hurt and assimilated herself with Sasami in order to save her life. Sasami thinks she died that day and Tsunami took over her body. However, when she's older, she will understand that they are now the same being (Tsunami is inside her). Tsunami is the future version of Sasami (Dragon Ball Z anyone?) Since Tsunami and Washu are connected, that might explain her and Sasami's great friendship.
