Tsunami is the mind of the ultimate Jurain battleship. She resides within and is the future version of Sasami. During an attack on Jurai, a very young Sasami was almost killed. To save Sasami's life, Tsunami assimulated and became one with her. Sasami thinks she really died that day and that Tsunami took over her body. When she grows up, Sasami will understand what really took place and what her link is with Lady Tokimi and Goddess Washu (which also might explain why Washu & Sasami get along so well). Tsunami is an extremely powerful being and guardian. However, her true history is a mystery (atleast to me it is!)
