Bontril is an oral appetite suppressant used for weight loss. Bontril is the trade name for Phendimetrazine. As with all appetite suppressants, Bontril is meant to be used in conjunction with a reduced calorie diet.
Bontril is readily absorbed from the GI tract and
effects persist for about 4 hours after oral administration.
Some other names for Phendimetrazine besides Bontril include: Adipost, Melfiat, Prelu-2, X-Troxine, Obezine, Bontril-SR, and Bontril-PDM.
NOTE: Appetite suppressants are not a substitute for proper diet. For maximum effects, this must be used in conjunction with a diet and exercise program.
