Xaphan, Zephon One of the apostate angels, now a demon of the 2nd rank. When Satan and his angels rebelled, he joined them. Warmly welcomed because of his inventive mind, he suggested to the rebels that the set fire to Heaven; but before the idea could be carried out, he and his colleagues were hurled to the bottom of the abyss, where he is (and presumably will be) forever engaged in fanning the embers in the furnaces.
