Put your FREE personal block on the Kildonan Tapestry! Some Suggestions for your block: Put your name and one or two words about yourself on a block If you have children, put their names on a block. Make a family block saying "The Smith Family" or "The Smith Family of Portland, Oregon." Put the names of your pets on a block. Have a memorial block to honor the memory of a family member or friend. Dedicate a block to someone you admire. If you do not have a website, your block can be designed so that when a viewer clicks on it, an email with your email address comes up. The viewer can then write an email to you. This is an option. If you have a website, put your website name on the block. The block can be hot-linked, then, to your website. |
| Criteria for tapestry block: These criteria must be adhered to strictly, or your block will not be added to the tapestry.
1. Size of the block must be 100 pixels by 100 pixels. Exactly. No exceptions. 2. The file size must be 8 Kilobytes or smaller. 3. No transparency. The color/pattern must cover the full extent of the 100p x 100p block. 4. Block must be in either .gif or .jpg format. No other format accepted. 5. Content must be suitable for viewing for all ages. 6. Block must have design elements that you have created or have permission to use. 7. Just one block for each URL. If you have more than one website, you may add a block for each separate URL. |
| Notification: When your block is added to the tapestry, you will be notified by email. Attached to the email will be a small graphic telling the world that you have a block on the Kildonan Tapestry. Please put that graphic on your website and link it to:
