Our Love
It did not shout its way into the world
But slithered like a scrawny snake
Silent but for a sensual swish
Enough to awaken a sultry smile
I was not stunned as its power unfurled
But somewhat surprised by a pleasant ache
Silent thought and a soulful wish
Enough to tempt me and beguile
You seemed unaware as it chastely curled
Your sleepy acceptance a subtle earthquake
Silent tremors swimming in like fish
Enough to persuade and reconcile

NEW LOVE ~~ TWO
To Unify
Liquid eyes stole my senses,
Stunned me with their limpid truth,
Challenging me to take the plunge
And sweetly drown
Bow of gold arrested all wit, to
Wrenched the purpose from my soul,
Inviting me to drop pretence
And acquiesce
Tongue of heat licked my resolve, that
Melted like ageing candle wax,
Enticing me to soft assent
In fiery flame
Gossamer strokes dissolved intentions,
Coalesced his heart and mine,
Embracing both with fluid balm
To Unify
