The Disney golf license plate included in all of the trays, is an undated license plate that was added to the catalog back in February of 2010 as SP-GF-62.   The SP-GF-62 plate shown in the catalog was found on e-Bay and exactly matches the plates in the trays.   To add more to the mystery of the trays, is that the "general" Golf license plate for the years of 1978, 1979 and 1980 have yet to be seen or identified.   So far only the Classic Club golf license plates for those years have been found.

Disney has not repeated the use of any of the Golf license plates.   There are only a few of the Disney Golf license plates that have not been identified as to the year of use.   Most of Golf license plates can be identified by the year of tournament use by the date or copyright on the plate.   It is not clear if this plate was intended to be used in the tournaments or was a display/presentation item.   Previous "Patron" golf license plates have been identified with the "Patron" identification on the license plate.

The tray for the 1978 set is made of brown plastic and is molded so that the items would remain in place.   The tray was shrink-wrapped.   The shrink-wrap was removed before the images was taken as it was in poor shape, loose and torn.   The number 133 was written on the back of the tray in orange.   The size of the tray is 17" wide by 12" tall.

Some of the individual items have "identification numbers" on the back of the items.   The "badges" in the 1978 set were numbered "398" and "399".   No other items in this set had "identification numbers".
