Legendary custom car builder and designer Chip Foose, owner of Foose Design and star of TV’s “Overhaulin”, held a special merchandise signing at D Street on June 15 and June 16, 2013. Chip's image of a fire engine in front of Cinderella Castle was featured on a license plate that was released at D Street and at the Disney Truck Shop in Downtown Disney West Side for the Car Masters Weekend event. Chip was selected by John Lasseter of Pixar to contribute paint schemes and graphic treatments to certain characters from the hit movie "Cars" and had a role as a consultant on the sequel, "Cars 2". A showcase of original Chip Foose "Cars" artwork was featured at Disney Theme Parks.

The plate was only available at the event and according to Disney Merchandise Guest Services, all of the merchandise from the event was sold out. Chip Foose was the artist for the license plate.
