Memorials:

These are some of the people who have passed on that have touched my life in some way. I miss them.

BEYOND

Restless days stand in a clouded haze before my weary eyes,
As I pray your kingdom come like a thief in the night,
You know this world can be unkind sometimes,
When you don't bow to it's whims,
But one day you'll take me far from here,
Where the sun never dims...

Beyond my eyes, beyond the sky,
Where tears turn to hope and hopes the way of life,
Beyond my fears, beyond here,
Beyond the realm of time and space,
I'll see Jesus face to face,
Beyond... beyond...

I know some souls who made it there,
Oh God I miss them so,
They traded in their earthly cares to kneel before your throne,
But if I could see them now I know they'd cheer me on,
Down this narrow road I'm travelling on that leads me home,
That leads me home...

Beyond my eyes, beyond the sky,
Where tears turn to hope and hopes the way of life,
Beyond my fears, beyond here,
Beyond the realm of time and space,
I'll see Jesus face to face,
Beyond... beyond...
Beyond...

LAWRENCE SIDNEY KEEN

Dec.7,1974 - Nov.13,1999.

My husband's brother was horribly killed in a tractor accident along with his fiance's sister. It is a tragic loss; this bright, goodhearted, wholesome, hardworking young man. He has touched many people and there are many friends and family who are grieving for him. I have many regrets and things that I wish I could have shared with you. I will miss your smile and your humor. Rest in Peace, Lawrence, and the grace of God set you free. We love you.

God's Flower Garden

Sometimes we can't quite understand our great creators way,
When he takes a life so young and leaves one withered, old and gray.
Whose life seems finished,
Perhaps is waiting for the call, while that life so young and tender,
Held so much here for us all.
Then sometimes I get to thinking,
Perhaps this world down here below,
It's just a flower garden,
Where God's flowers live and grow.
And when God is lonely like us,
He loves to roam in his garden,
Gathering flowers to beautify his home.
Even though he takes full-bloom flowers,
Drooped and withered that need his care,
He needs a bud or blossom,
To scatter here and there.
So he takes a few choice blossoms,
The rarest he could ever find.
And because God needs them in heaven,
Must comfort the loved ones left behind.

FLORENCE BEATRICE MONKHOUSE

June 14,1903 - April 1,1988.

My great aunt caused much havoc in my life when she died. She was the most cheerful person that I have ever met. Even though there were many things that could have made her a cranky and mean old lady, she never let life get her down. I loved her a lot and I STILL miss here even after all these years. I'll see you when I get there, Auntie Flo. I have a very special person for you to meet!

DIXIE RUTH COLLUM

July 26,1947 - Oct.25,1998.

My "auntie" Dixie was a close family friend. I grew up with her girls as almost sisters. I have many fond memories of the family things that we did together. She was a wonderful woman with many who love her as well.

ALICE NOTT

Aug.24,1908 - Mar.21,1998.

My great auntie "Ishe" was another close auntie. She was very generous with gifts and could be fun to be around. She needed love and patience.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose."

"For I am convinced that that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 8:28,38.

ELIJAH

The Jordan is waiting for me to cross thru,
My heart is aging I can tell,
So Lord, I'm begging,
For one last favor from You,
Here's my heart,
Take it where You will

This life has shown me how we're mended,
And how we're torn,
How it's OK to be lonely,
As long as you're free,
Sometimes my ground was stoney,
And sometimes covered up with thorns,
And only You could make it what it had to be,
And now that it's done,
If they dressed me like a pauper,
Or if they dined me like a prince,
If they lay me with my fathers,
Or if my ashes scatter on the wind,
I don't care...

(chorus)When I leave I want to go out like Elijah,
With a whirlwind to fuel my chariot of fire,
And when I look back on the stars,
It'll be like a candlelight in Central Park,
And it won't break my heart to say good-bye...

There's people been friendly,
But they'd never be your friends,
Sometimes this has bent me to the ground,
But now that this is all ending I want to,
Hear some music once again,
'Cause it's the finest thing,
That I have ever found.

But the Jordan is waiting,
Though I ain't never seen the other side,
Still they say you can't take in,
The things you have here,
So on the road to salvation,
I stick out my thumb and He gives me a ride,
And His music is already falling on my ears...

There's people been talking,
They say they're worried about my soul,
Well, I'm here to tell you I'll keep rocking,
'Til I'm sure it's my time to roll,
And when I do,

(chorus)
