Most were taken in Sevier County Arkansas 50 or so years ago. Some will have information added.
The First Baptist Church Was first built sometime about 1925 I think. For many years it was only half done. Half of the foundation stood there without anything on it. After about 25 years the Church needed to enlarge. Cleared out the old unsightly foundation and at least doubled the size of the church. My father and I did much of the carpenter work. I built all the door frames and hung the doors to all the classrooms on the bottom floor. I mixed the mortar to install the time capsule at the front of the building. The Pastor and Deacons all put a
trowel of mortar in and then my father and I finished it. Also my father, myself and younger sister painted all the woodwork on the outside of the church 2 times in 1940's.
