Union Community had their first ever reunion on April, 22nd. 2000.
Everyone had a wonderful time. We visited most of the morning.
Then we went in for a short time and each person stood and intro-
duced themselves. They also related some of their memories of the
past.
The old Brush Arbor that was used before the present building was
erected was also discussed. It brought back fond memories of days
gone by. The Brush Arbor was lit during night services with a kerosene
latern. It was located about a quarter of a mile west of the present
building.
Some of these memories were of racing horses, the old brush arbor
that was used before the building was built in 1936. Some of the Chris-
tmas plays we had performed at this building. Then we all sat down to
a wonderful lunch. Everyone ate til it ouched.
The community did a great job in sponsoring the reunion.
