Soothing Balm |
||
you
weave a garland of myriad hues and
give it to me to keep i
watch the flowers fade and wilt not
revived by the tears i weep you
have your rainbow dreams while
i’m tormented by nightmares you
talk to the elves and fairies and
here i’m caught up in snares you
wear the cloak of starry night while
like a frail man old i
watch you bask in the moonlight and
shiver from the cold whispering
through leaf-laden trees and
caressing me to calm do
come to me oh gentle breeze like some soothing balm
