Dear Editor,

I just read Poncer's article about Eloise leaving and also the one on furres leaving Furc because of harassments. I would like to say that well over two years ago when I first came to Furc the only reason I didn't leave was because of Eloise's kindness. She had a way of making furres feel better without seeming like some nosy patronising do-gooder. Some people act nice just to make themselves look good and be important but Eloise was genuine. I started in Furc for the wrong reasons, no point in details, but it was to help a friend get back at his irl and ic ex-girlfriend. Needless to say I got myself into some unsavoury situations and was left one night in a packed Mycroft's being made a fool of by several smart talking characters. I just sat at the long table not leaving because I didn't want others to think I was bothered but I was, really badly...and I intended just to stay long enough that I looked tough then would never return to Furc. Another furre whose name I've forgotten brought Eloise over to talk to me, she wasn't an Owsla then. The furre was trying to be nice and assumed because I was in Sweden and Eloise was in Finland that we could converse....although our countries have many ties, the language and the culture are nothing alike. Swedes and Finns must speak in English to converse. I didn't feel much like talking but Eloise was very kind and she also didn't try to be nosy either. We ended up talking about a breakfast item they call pinnattiokurssias in Finland that we call spenatplatters. That may sound silly but after talking to Eloise all the stupid mean stuff somefurres say and do didn't seem to matter anymore and I decided to stay. I wish someone could have been there to persuade Eloise to stay...someone who could have made her realise that all the stupid mean stuff doesn't matter...and, to paraphrase something someone famous once said, "What doesn't kill us will only make us stronger."
