Youth center "Volta" in Amsterdam is a very interesting place.The building is located close to Yordaan-one of the oldest parts of Amsterdam, full of intellectuals, aristocrats and all that kind of people. Behind the "Volta" is a railroad-border line for the immigrant populated area. Next to the "Volta" is a park, there young dudes from immigrant neighborhood make a lot of trouble for a snobby folks from Jordaan..
"Volta" was set there at 1995 to keep that dudes from the street, and to help them develop their natural talents.It worked!
"Volta" is located near Westerpark at Hutmankade 334, Amsterdam

At the year 1999 Nick Gabrichidze was commissioned to make an artworks for the concert hall in the VOLTA. Three wooden panels been made-images of masks from the old cultures with a currency as the background.
