There are other, more interesting aspects, which lie within the physical world in which we live.
Most notably audio/visual stimulous reported by local townspeople that live in and around Medjugorje.

The UFO Resource Center would like to thank Anna for her contribution. We have carefully researched
this Interenet web site from whence we draw our research report. It involves what many call "signs" that occur before,
during and after Marian apparitions at Medjugorje.
Anna's web site yielded a wealth of UFO research, to add to our research data base regarding the UFO/Religion Paradigm (© Christopher
Montgomery) In this case, bright, effulgent UFOs corresponded to appearances of what many eyewitnesses believe to be the Virgin Mary. For all intents and
purposes, we shall call her the BVM (Blessed Virgin Mary). That is the abreviation that I use most often while reporting
on "supernatural events" surrounding the apparitions of the 'Virgin Mother' and the UFO phenomenon. (Reference #1).
In the first months of the apparitions in Medjugorje, signs, or supernatural events were particulary numerous. These signs
were witnessed by many people, especially those of the hamlet of Bijhakovici, in which all the visionaries were born. These signs were
an important factor in drawing the local people to the place of the apparitions, and undoubtedly account for the enourmous
crowds that gathered there in a matter of days after thay began.
She goes on to report the absence of pain and injury from this trek, despite the fact that the Mountain side is covered
with "sharp-edged stones and thorny thickets."
According to "Anna," the author of this account, the children were drawn up the steep slope of
Mount Podbrdo "with amazing speed and ease." She notes that one of the children were barefoot at the time of the incident,
yet the sharp rocks never cut her delicate feet. "No thorn pricked me," the childs reported, "When we
came to about six feet of Our Lady!
If you have read my research on La Salette, you will find that this case study is remarkably similar.
"Manifestations of light that assume many forms are some of the most frequent signs witnessed
at Medjugorje. The first of these was seen on June 27, 1981. On that day, Our Lady's
coming was preceeded by a brilliant light that illumined not only the village,
but the entire area, and was seen by everyone." On June 28, 1981, the people gathered on Mount Podbrdo saw the light
which immediately peceeded Our Lady's coming to the five visionaries who were present."
