Management Institute and Computer Research Organisation (Regd.), Udupi, is a Public charitable Trust established with the sole noble objective of setting up a unique residential research type educational Institution to provide teenagers the right kind of ambience for developing their inherent but dormant managerial and professional aptitude and abilities. The MICRO management felt that such objective can be achieved only when Management study inputs are provided in an exclusive ambience in contrast to the common, current practice of crowding them in a heterogeneous study environment existing in multi-disciplinary Institutions elsewhere, catering primarily for too general type of Arts, Science and Commerce study programs.
In evolving their innovative management study concpt, the Trustees of MICRO have been inspired by the vision of Shree H.H.Vibhudesha Theertha Swamiji of Admar Mutt, Udupi who conceived the idea of exclusive training for young Science talents from P.U.C. level of studies leading to doctoral research and through his dedicated hard work, has by now set up a multi-crore Institute of Basic Sciences in Bangalore. They have also been profoundly impressed by the Swamiji's proposal for providing scholars with the freedom of choice of Professors from a panel.
