The Shrine of Knock marks the site of a church where fifteen townspeople witnessed the apparition of the Virgin Mary. In the years that followed, people traveled from all over the country to Knock where they were healed at this spot. Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa are among those who have pilgrimaged to this small town. |
