A Roundtower sits in the shadow of Benbulben Mountain in Drumcliffe. It housed monks as early as 900 AD. (from a postcard, as you can tell by the blue skies)

This Celtic cross survives from the 11th century. It's carvings include Adam & Eve, Cain slaying Able, Daniel In The Lion's Den, and the crucifixion (click picture for a closer look). The roundtower is in the background.

Stopping for a pint in Ballyshannon. (stopping for a pint everywhere!) Notice the dorky windburn from the Cliffs.

Ardara, Co. Donegal
Home to Kris' paternal grandmother (picture: postcard)

NIGHT #4 - Greenhaven B&B in Ardara.
Host: Eileen Molloy (married into Kris' family tree)

Ardara is a very small town in Northwest Ireland. Kris' grandmother left here for America (with Kris' great-grandparents) when she was six.
