these humble words, these simple rhymes,
they don't have any illusions of grandeur or
greatness
the only thing my words could ever ask
would be a melody to give them flight
they are travelling hopefully
in search of their true home
inside a song
along with all their brothers and sisters
hiding in my satchel, feeling their rhythms and
waiting their chance
to get out and run around
they quietly aspire to grow up one day into
