ARE WE THERE YET, ARE WE THERE YET....
nope read on....
Our home for the next few days :)
Along comes Glen,
GLEN AKA GLEN
he owns the boat, so we have to be extremely nice to him. He is here to give us “a brief” on the boat. Translation, he’s here to lecture us on what we can and can’t do. Being nice to Glen lasts all of 5 minutes before we are taking the piss out of him. ( personally, I think he’s a little worried about what sort of idiots he’s hiring his boat out to.) Toos decides it’s a great idea to video “the brief”, just in case we forget anything. And what exactly was she videoing? She has an interesting video of the view from where she was sitting, right up the leg of his shorts. Bad Toos, bad Toos. ( can we get a copy of that video Toos?)
Kevie arrives straight from work during the middle of “the brief”
KEVIE AKA KEV
He’s in a frigging tie and a business shirt. He’s on the boat for 2 minutes and his work phone rings. Toos says to me, “I want his cap” , I walk over to him while he is talking to this customer on the phone and remove it from his head and throw it over to Toos.
“I want his shirt too Insane”
He’s on the phone, what can he do to fend me off while he’s talking to a customer? Absolutely nothing. I unbutton his shirt, unbutton the cuffs, remove the shirt from him and throw it over to Toos.
“Get the pants too Insane”
Kevie gets a look of horror in his eyes, and holds his hands over his belt. Nah, think I will leave the stripping of his pants to someone else.
Glen had been giving Oct “a brief” on the driving of the boat throughout the stripping of Kevie, they turn around to see him standing in the kitchen half naked. Glen looks a little worried, lol can’t say I blame him for that.
Glen is confident that at sometime during our weekend trip, he is going to have to come and rescue us after we beach the houseboat on a sandbar. Oct tries to make a bet with him, if we don’t manage to put ourselves on a sandbar, we should get our fuel for free. Glen is very confident that we will do it, but doesn’t agree to the bet lol.
Our “brief” is over, and we are ready to set off on our trip.
Glen backs the houseboat out for us, and hands the steering wheel to me, telling me to drive. I inform him that my occupation is a courier……there’s that worried look again as he buries his face in his hands. He bids his boat a fond farewell, and we are on our own.

We all thoroughly recommend if you decide to take a houseboat trip in Queensland, this is the best company to deal with.
(Glen, cash for comments payments can be made directly to Oct and myself in small unmarked bills. Mention our names to Glen should you decide to hire a boat from him, we get 10% commission, plus GST………is that ok with you Glen????)
