~Our Daughter ~
She is so smart and pretty too!
She acts just like you, the stubborn one.
I laugh to myself when I see that in her.
I tell her, "dear one, you're just like your dad".
She looks at me funny, but smile she does.
Memories from being, daddys' little girl.
Now in college she is, so proud you would be.
Your little "kitten" has left the nest.
It was so hard with you not here.
She tried to be strong, but the tears just came.
Tears of relief, its time they came.
She tried to forget, forget she could not.
She fights within, for words not said.
"I LOVE YOU DADDY" ~ he already knows.
