~Two Special Kids ~
Two special kids have lost their dad.
Does the world see they are so sad.
What to tell them, what to say.
You have my love, you have today.
We argue, we fight, I love them so.
They don't understand why dad had to go.
He loved them so, more than life itself.
I hope they remember what a good dad he was.
He worked so hard, from dawn to dusk
Giving them all, for hugs in return.
They talk sometimes about their dad.
Their hurt still fresh, the pain not gone.
One graduates high school, the baby is driving.
What happy times, but dad is not here.
