~ Yes I Am ~
Life before, how changed I am.
Small steps taken, therefore I am.
Missions complete; again I am.
Many changes; still I am.
Appearance altered I am.
Sorrows many, I am.
Deep within, I am.
Through my faith I am.
Til the very end ~ I am.
Thank You sweet Jesus.

I love this writing and all it represents. My journey with the simplicity of words as God intended with spiritual intensity.
Each line of the poem represents a time period in my life with the struggles that surfaced; how I handled without accepting God's guidance, then how I grew to understand (with accepting Jesus as my savior) how my burdens were lifted for Jesus had already carried the burden for me and won the victory.
(Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away ; behold, all things are become new...2Corinthisans 5:17)
Regardless of the battle, it is already won. ("In this world you will have trouble, but be brave! I have defeated the world" ...John 16:33).
Do I mean that my challenges stopped? No ~ but the challenges are faced with Christ at my side and when the enemy (satan) attacks I am equiped with the tools;
(Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness:
And you feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication all saints...
Ephesians 6:11-18 (the whole chapter of Ephesians 6 is on Christain soldiering)
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. John 14:6-7
Simplicity in closing as I believe God intends His words to be; thought provoking with spiritual growth
Without Christ in your life you will be an " I am"; a single existance with no meaning or purpose.
Repent and accept Jesus as your savior ; serve the Lord with all your heart. Daily thank Him for our reward that is waiting (with His blessings) packed full of His promises ~ Heaven.
From birth I am, with growth I am, through it all God is ~ for without Him, I was not.
