~ You Ask Why ~
So quickly it changed over night it was
Security in life has gone forever.
Who I am now because of then
Not what you see, so lonely I am.
My spirit is dying only God understands.
Only through Him am I still.
Escape of thought my daily mate.
Hiding my tears ~ so lonely I am.
When will people listen when will they care.
Gone are those days depth of hurt it is.
Falsehood of, eyes that won't see
Compassion they've lost, so lonely I am.
Consumed with grief an end I want.
Back to what was and should always be.
A world full of love and people who care.
Then maybe I won't be so lonely I am.
