THE ROYAL SCOTTISH OWL

This bird belonged to my late husband, James IV King of Scots. He is on loan to Last Chance Forever and under the care of Sir John Karger and the staff of the Last Chance Forever Bird of Prey Conservancy.

His Grace, the Great Horned Owl

The Great Horned Owl, known simply as G.H. Owl, as that is what is posted on the door to his roost.

Introducing the Owl to the People

Owls provide a service to us. Called the sharks of the air, they are flying eating and killing machines, eating things like skunks which carry rabies. They take care of us without us knowing about it. Sure, they may snatch a chicken or two, but they don't mean any harm to us. Please don't kill them.
