Sheila's Magic Peanut Butter
Cornflake Cookies/Bars

5 tbsp. butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup Karo white syrup
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups cornflakes

Bring butter, brown sugar, Karo syrup and vinegar to a rolling boil in large heavy pan on the stove. Boil 1-2 minutes (the longer the boil, the harder cookies will be).

Remove from heat and add peanut butter, stirring till smooth. Add cornflakes. Stir until evenly coated.

Drop by spoonfuls to make drop cookies or press in cake pan for bar cookies.
