I would like to give credit to the photographer, who is a member of ghoststudy.com, but I do not know his name.

Fall Special Edition
Risen From The Mist

Vol.3, Issue 4
Date of Issue, October 1, 2004

Shivering through the last months
in anxiety and grief, the only thief,
I realize, is fear, but robbed of hope awhile~
I turned you all away. I'm here alone, wanting to share
how words are air~ yes, air itself ~how words
are how I breathe.

Some of you had submitted poems I accepted
for this issue, then told you I was closing Blue
House-I ask your forgiveness. I couldn't close
it down, nor could I ask for poems that had
most probably been sent to other ezines. This
is the October filler~~~ just a few of my own
poems in a chilling vein as is appropriate to
this eerie season. I ask your indulgence, and
offer too, the art work of Natalka Husar.

There is the shiver of the surreal as well as
dark humor and social irony in these most
remarkable paintings of Canadian artist

I find myself staring and staring at these images,
finding woundedness and wisdom both. When you've
finished with these, please visit the J.M. Barnicke Art Gallery
for more art work, as well as insight into the background
of this strangely "seeress-like" painter of Ukranian
descent, whose personal history
so richly powers her work.
