Andrzej Masianis, a Polish artist with
a powerful mastery of both color and illusion.
To describe his work in only two words, I would
choose 'surreal' and 'ORGANIC' . You will find
many winged things in his paintings. There is
a resurgence of the Renaissance in his work. With
a skill reminiscent of great religious art, he's created beings
who are neither angel nor devil, but a new dimension. With
their glowing veils and tapering bat wings, he's given us
something both beatific and thrilling.
