Cowboy & Indian
There is only one
real cowboy and
one real Indian
left on the Western
plain and still
they don't talk
to each other
without
the cowboy
trying to swindle
the Indian
out of his teepee
and horse again
Tiddly Blinks
got 'em comin'
at me from all
directions
all the sudden
angry black
birds pecking
at my eyes
trying to pluck
'em out
but I put on
my Spy vs Spy
sunglasses
and beat them
at dead man's poker
Out The Window
I stand at the window
in the early hours
of morning
in my underwear
like Mr. Chinaski
holding what's left
of a bottle of scotch
yeah, right
watching the milkman
milk the cow next door
like he does
every morning
for as long
as my memory serves
