The Poetry Of.
Marie Lecrivain...................

fast

if
i say your name
three times fast

would you leave me alone

when your cruelty
holds me* *fast
to the present

i cannot unbind
this heart to breathe

and to breathe
without you
holding fast
to the pain

is a decision

i am
slow
to act upon

after 0º

I
Come
Home to
Dark morning
And familiar
Who doesn't want to recognize
The new frequency her mistress has been aligned to
Scared mewling marks the distance between us and the price I pay for undoing
myself

september 10th

Fall
Comes
Softly
Golden leaves
Fall onto the roof
Outside the window where I gaze
At the ineffable greenery of a palm tree
Lacy fronds remind me that seasons are more subtle in a land of nothing or
all
