SNOW FALL
Silently it falls
Caressing each limb
Blanketing the otherwise chaotic world
In the purity it lost long ago
Catching the memories on your tongue
As the child-like simplicity comes skipping back
While the flakes slide impatiently down your throat
Each one different from those before
They come together to create something more
Imprints of angels dance feverishly on the ground
To the comforting music of youthful laughter
The ice envelopes each leaf, each branch
As if shielding it from any danger it could encounter
But also revealing a beauty unknown
The world around you seems to bring a peaceful hush
In anticipation
Arching towards the sky
Pleading for more
The young heart released
As the sheets of white
Blanket the ground
