Spicy Barbecue Sauce

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; stir well. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Discard bay leaf. Use on pork or poultry or tofu.
