Fruited Oat Bran Bread

1 1/2 LB LOAF
1 1/3 cups water
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons molasses
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2/3 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/3 cups oat bran
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 2/3 cups bread flour
1/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 1/2 tablespoons gluten
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
1/3 cup pear -- diced
1/3 cup raisins
1/3 cup dried apricots -- chopped
Bake according to manufacturer's instructions, adding the fruit during the raisin bread cycle, or five minutes before the final kneading is finished.
Makes 12 thick slices
NOTES: A nice, fruity oat bran bread that is light and moist. Its texture reminds me of a muffin, and I love it for breakfast or as a midafternoon snack.. Feel free to alter the combination of fruits as the season and your moods change. Berries are especially nice in the summertime.
