Forgotten

It amazes me when I think of her
And how hard her heart must be
To talk so proud, so cool, so loud
And often so low of me

I build her up, she talks me down
But my love just will not die
I dream of her smile, I smell her sweet breathe
But it only makes me cry

I glare into my heart at night
To see her smiling down
But when she walks by I can't help but cry
And this smile turns into a frown

Could it be that she's better than me
Do I not deserve sight of this girl
If she is above me, and better than I
Then why do we share the same world

I wonder by night, in such splendid delight
Oh just how blind is this fine dame
To look all around where I stand and I stare
Even whispering her sweet candy name

And even in my desperate screams
And sadness I show so vivid
She sees these cries as pathetic lies
And further away she is driven

And what good is a heart that not loves another
What good is a mind that will not think
When I beg to be happy, I plead with my own
Yet my mind follies near to the brink

When she walks on by, with such hate in her eye
And I glaring with a stone stare
Wonders why my heart shakes, why it pains, why it wallows
Why it suffers because I still care

When time were good, and life was bright
And my joy with her was regarded
She dropped my heart, like a glass on the floor
