HOLY WEEK
Various events are taking place in the Churches in Tudhoe. St. David's Church and St. Bartholomew's Church in Croxdale share the services this week, ending on Easter Day. The following Sunday, commonly called Low Sunday, there is a special service of Easter Hymns and Readings, with a Choir which will be singing four hymns.
MAUNDY THURSDAY
This service will take place at St. Bartholomew's church. It starts at 7.30pm with The Last Supper Ceremonies followed by Watch at the Altar of Repose until 10pm.
GOOD FRIDAY
1.30pm at St. David's The Good Friday Liturgy.
3.00pm at St. Bartholomew's The Good Friday Liturgy.
HOLY SATURDAY
St. Bartholomew's Church - THE EVE OF EASTER VIGIL AND THE FIRST EASTER EUCHARIST at 7.00pm.
EASTER DAY
9.00am at St. David's THE PARISH EUCHARIST
10.30am at St. Bartholomew's THE PARISH EUCHARIST
LADYBIRDS
The Ladybirds meet on Wednesday, 4th April at 7.30pm in St. David's Church hall. This weeks guest is Mrs. Brenda Turnbull, wife of the bishop of Durham who will be giving a talk on life as a bishop's wife. Everyone is welcome to come along.
