Homa Organic Farming

Many farms in south India have coconut plantations. In 1999 there was an outbreak of nut infesting eriophyid mite in many plantations. This was the first time the infestion had been reported in any Asian country. This resulted in extremely small sized fruits and heavy crop losses due to immature nut fall.

Shri Desai also started Agnihotra and Homa Therapy on his farm in 1999. Today he is one of the very few farmers with completely healthy coconuts. There is absolutely no trace of the nut infesting eriophyid mite.
