Coleus forskohlii is an important medicinal herb. It has useful applications in asthma, glaucoma, heart disease, hypertension, obesity and psoriasis. Shri Desai received rooted seedlings from University Agriculture Department. They had been raised with a  variety of fertilizer treatments and each batch was labelled (first six rows on the right in picture above). 

At the same time Shri Desai also planted his own unrooted cuttings which had been treated with Agnihotra ash. All plants were given the same amount of water. While all the plants from the University have died, the Agnihotra ash cuttings have survived and are doing very well.
