Alice's Place @ Angelfire
Becky, Amy, and Alice
A Welcome from Alice E. Young...
I live in Florida and Minnesota. I was
diagnosed with alzheimers disease 2
years ago. I have 5 wonderful children
who have been very supportive along
this journey.
This page has been created so that I may
share my thoughts and feelings as I struggle
to cope with this disease.
Please feel free to email me with your thoughts
and comments. All suggestions are appreciated.
My heart overflowth with joy this morning. How
great thou art, O God, when I look on and
experience your creation this fourth of
July, 2000.
The lake is calm and there is a twittering
in the birch trees. How calming it is to my
soul, knowing that you are with me all the
way in and through this illness. I feel so
taken care of at times that I am overcome with
the kindness and goodness of family and friends!
Bless my soul, O God, and all that is around me!
May I be grateful for each moment, each hour, each
day, as I make this final journey of my life. May I
show my love for you in all that I say and do.
Amen
