Chapter 11
Alex's POV

"You've gotta be kidding me!" Brian laughed. I shook my head and giggled.

"Not a chance," I said. "I'm evil and you know it."

"I don't you think you're evil," he said as we walked around the harbor. "Just . . . sinister."

"Even better," I snickered, jokingly. "And, how did you eat all that food? You had to have gained at least twenty pounds." Brian shrugged. Then, we reached the aquarium.

"Wanna go in?" Brian asked.

"I was just here yesterday with JC," I told him. His face fell a little. "But I don't mind going again. I'd like to hear your point of view on the fish."

"Point . . . of . . . view . . . on . . . fish?" Brian asked, confused.

"You've never been in here before, have you?" He shook his head. "You'll see what I mean when we get in." The two of us got tickets and went up the escalators. When we walked inside, Brian looked around in awe.

"Wow!" he said. Before he could say anything else, I dragged him into the actual building. "Oh, whoops!" I showed him the stingray pool and the sharks. He cracked up at the glow-in-the-dark fish and almost went into a fit of laughter at the dolphin show . . . until he got soaked, that is. By the time we got out of there, it was 5pm.

"Oh, sh*t," I muttered. "It's late. I'm supposed to meet the others for dinner in an hour."

"Want me to walk you back?" he offered. I thought for a second.

"Why don't you come with?" I suggested.

"I dunno . . ."

"Oh, c'mon. I'm sure Nick won't miss you! He hates you!" Brian raised an eyebrow at me. "Okay, so that's not true, but I'm trying to convince you to come with, so gimme a break, okay?" Brian laughed and rolled his eyes.

"Alright, I'll come, but I want to go take a shower first."

"Please do," I said, holding my nose. He pushed me lightly. "I'll meet you at Nick's boat at 6."

"Nick will be there by then-"

"I don't care. I'm having too much fun to let it bother me."

"Okay then, I'll meet you at 6." We said goodbye and walked our separate ways. It only took about ten minutes to walk back to the hotel. When I got there, I found everybody in the little café downstairs.

"Hey!" I said, walking over to them.

"Hey, Al," Elisbeph said.

"Hey, babe," JC said. I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"How was lunch?" Chris asked.

"Surprisingly fun, I said, sitting down on JC's lap. "I hope you guys don't mind, but I asked him to join us for dinner. There was an awkward silence at the table.

"Of course we don't mind," Roxie said.

"It'll be fun," Elis said, evilly. I rolled my eyes.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Perfectly sure," Mel said. "He's part of your family, so he's part of ours." I rolled my eyes .

"Oh, won't he just be thrilled," I joked.

"If he misbehaves, we can always kill him," Star suggested to the others.

"Ha, ha, funny," I said, rolling my eyes.
