Prologue

Okay, so there are these three girls. Believe it when I say that they're not your ordinary ladies. First there's Dia. A 5'6, 21-year-old woman with long, straight auburn hair and royal blue eyes. Then comes Kaisa. A 5'7m 18 year old woman with shoulder length, wavy jet black hair and chocolate brown eyes. Last but certainly not least, is Dreama. She's 5'9, 24, and has incredibly short red hair and grey-blue eyes.

Though they sound like sane, ordinary people; think again. Their supernatural powers are their distinction from most of the world's population. About 3 years ago, Dia was transformed by a vampire named Spike (no, not the Spike from the Vampire Slayer). Spike was old and ugly and was murdered by Dia a few weeks after her transformation because he had killed her friend, Dreama.

Skipping over Dreama for a moment, bringing us to Kaisa. She's a spellcaster (more commonly known as a witch). As soon as Dia had found Dreama's body, she had brought her to Kaisa's apartment, where Kaisa had revived Dreama's soul, making her a walking, talking spirit.

Now that you have a little bit of knowledge about the ladies, let's take a few minutes to clarify a few things, starting with vampires. Contrary to popular belief, when a person is transformed, their body is not inhabited by a demon. There are only a few changes: One, they have a thirst for blood. In some cases it's a few times a day, and in other's it's only once a month. Two, they cannot go outside in the daytime, but Dia is an exception. Kaisa had created a ring for her which enables her to be in the sun for however long she pleases, yet from 11 AM to 1 PM, she has to wear sunglasses (the ring also, unexpectedly, gave Dia some of the same powers as Kaisa).

Three, vampires do "inherit" great feats of strength when transformed, so, obviously, they aren't weaklings. And the fourth and final change, wood, sliver, gold, lead, or any other crosses will burn a vampire's skin (cross tattoos will not). Wait! One more thing. Garlic has no effect whatsoever. In Dia's words, "Tastes good, but just use a breath mint afterwards."

For spirits (ghosts), there aren't that many changes. They can walk through walls and make themselves invisible (although other "undead" and supernatural beings can see them at all times).

Then, there are spellcasters. Well, there's really not much to tell. They can cast spells and levitate most things. They don't have premonitions, can't disappear or transport themselves somewhere, or stop time, or bring about world peace. Most of what they do involves spells, herbs, and sacred artifacts, but a few things just happen naturally. Also, there is no flying on broomsticks.
