"Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to Hades we go," Dreama sang quietly and she, Kaisa, Brian, and Kevin walked into the mortuary.
"Can I help you?" They all turned to find a young lady in a white lab coat, standing behind them.
"Umm . . ." Brian said. "We're looking for, umm . . . Kaisa?" With a flick of her wrist, Kaisa froze the mortician.
"Watch this," Dreama whispered to Kevin. She went over and pushed lightly on the mortician's shoulder, causing her to sway back and forth. Kevin snickered.
"Enough playing," Kaisa snapped. Dreama shrunk back. "Let's go get Dia." As Brian and Kaisa pushed through the swinging double doors, Dreama stuck her tongue out at them. Kevin rolled his eyes and grabbed her hand.
"C'mon," he said, pulling her through the door. The room was a large one. It had rows and rows of wall things that looked like file cabinets, yet if you opened one, there was a body in it (MIB, people. Remember the morgue?)
"How are we gonna find her?" Brian asked, fingering one of the handles.
"We open every one until we find her," Kaisa said. "Anyone up for a search and seizure?" Dreama raised her hand like a giddy five-year-old. Kaisa rolled her eyes. "Then let's get cracking."
The four of them went to different areas of the room. Dreama opened one of the 'drawers' and was about to say something when . . .
"No comments, Dreama," Kaisa warned. "We want to find Dia and get out of here . . . before the mortician wakes up." Dreama closed her mouth and pouted, shutting the drawer.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are," Dreama sang softly. She went through a few more. She opened another one and smiled.
"Morning honey," she drawled, looming over Dia's pale body.
"Who are you talking to?" Kevin called from his part of the room.
"Dia," Dreama called back. Brian, Kaisa, and Kevin rushed over.
"Is she okay?" Brian asked.
"I am," Dia said, "but Dreama won't be if she calls me honey one more time."
"Yes, sweetheart," Dreama drawled. Dia glared at her.
"I'm so glad you're okay," Brian exclaimed. Dia yawned and sat up.
"I'm surprised they didn't take your clothes this time," Kaisa said.
"Thank Hades they didn't," Dia said, cracking her back. She swung her legs over the side and Brian held out a hand to her. She smiled thankfully and took it, hopping down from the 'shelf'.
"You guys ready?" Kevin asked. They all nodded and Dia brushed herself off. They walked out of the mortuary and Kaisa chanted a short spell that put everything back in place and erased all memory of Dia from the minds of the people who had taken care of her.
